From my childhood, through school and college and my career as an Architect, I have always created drawings and paintings and visual interpretations of what I see, the buildings I have designed and have created in pencil, pen, watercolour and acrylic mediums. Fine line pen and pencil work principally of buildings and townscapes with and without watercolour have predominated but I have developed land and seascapes in acrylic in recent years. My works have included birds and animals from time to time, and I have created numerous greetings cards from some of my work. Taking part in a number of local exhibitions, I also maintain a gallery of my work at my home studio. I have been Chairman of Wokingham Art Society since 2022 and of the Wokingham Arts Trail from 2020 and am a member of the Reading Guild of Artists (RGA) and the Reading Urban Sketchers Group.
