ANNUAL SUMMER EXHIBITION AND SALE

The 69th Wokingham Art Society exhibition will be held from Saturday 18th July until Saturday 1st August 2026 at

St Paul’s Parish Rooms

(Reading Rd, Wokingham RG41 1EH)

10am to 5:30pm (10am to 4pm on the last day)

The exhibition is open to the public every day from 10:00 to 17:30 apart from the last day when it closes at 16:00.

All the works in the Exhibition are original works of art. A special feature of the Exhibition is that works are sold ‘from the wall’. Purchasers take away their chosen pieces at once. New works replace the sold items making this a rolling Exhibition.

Prizes for outstanding works are awarded by a panel of independent prominent artists. There is also an award based on votes made by the visiting public.

The paintings and other works that have received awards at previous exhibitions can be seen in the gallery.

Only Exhibiting Members can display their works at the annual exhibition. Members wishing to become Exhibiting Members should contact the Membership Secretary here.

Last year the over 60 local artists showcased their work. The esteemed judge was Liz Chaderton. The winning artworks were presented by two Wokingham mayors, Councillor Louise Timlin and Rob Crowe, the president of the Wokingham Art Society, Jenny Halstead, the chairman, Peter Izod, and Philip Grey, representing Daler Rowney, which sponsored the exhibition.

The exhibition welcomed many visitors, including Clive Jones, Wokingham MP, and artists sold a considerable number of works.

Pictures of the awarded works can be found in theĀ  Gallery
