JEAN DAVIES

I am entirely self taught, starting with watercolour around 45 years ago. My first efforts were to copy botanic paintings from a book, then copying flowers from my garden.

Since then I have branched out a bit, and now use acrylic, oil, ink, and coloured pencils, and still occasionally, watercolour.

My inspiration comes from all over the place, depending on what appeals to me. That means that my paintings all vary, going from botanic, to landscape, and even portraits occasionally. Below are examples of paintings done with coloured pencils.
