I owned an Art gallery with my husband for eleven years, during which time I experimented with different media and styles. An artist grows and changes over time and my inspiration originally came from some of the wonderful figurative artists that we exhibited. In later years I have become more inspired by Klimt and so have used gold and silver leaf to enhance my city-scapes. I enjoy painting London, the views of which, from the London bridges, take one’s breath away. I am fascinated by water and Mountains and lately have made trips to the Lake District to gain an inner imagery to draw upon for inspiration.
