Reflections

Calling duck

After the rain
I have always loved drawing and painting, since early childhood. I passed art at 'A' Level but went into computer programming as a career, continuing to paint as a hobby.
As a volunteer I taught painting at a local hospital day centre for fifteen years. After bringing up my two daughters I became a water colourist, working from home, painting prints from engravings and etchings for a local publishing company.
I paint in oils, acrylic and watercolour in a realistic style. My inspiration comes from the world around me, including natural landscapes, buildings, animals and birds.
I have exhibited for many years at local venues as well as Wokingham Art society's Summer Exhibitions.
