ANNUAL SUMMER EXHIBITION AND SALE
68th Wokingham Art Society Summer Exhibition
19th July – 2nd August 2025
The Wokingham Art Society held its 68th art exhibition at St. Paul’s Parish Rooms. Over 60 local artists showcased their work. The esteemed judge for this year’s exhibition was Liz Chaderton. The awards for the winning works were presented by two Wokingham mayors, Councillor Louise Timlin (Wokingham Town Council Mayor) and Councillor Rob Comber (Wokingham Borough deputy Mayor), the president of the Wokingham Art Society, Jenny Halstead, the chairman, Peter Izod, and Philip Gray, representing Daler Rowney, which sponsored the exhibition. Additionally, as it is costumary, the Sandra Fagan award, for the best watercolour artwork, was presented by Peter Fagan, supported by his family.
This year the exhibition welcomed over 1,000 visitors, including Clive Jones, Wokingham MP. A considerable number of works were sold.

Next year’s Annual Summer Exhibition is planned from the 18th of July to the 1st of August 2026. Only Exhibiting Members that have paid their fees before the end of March are eligible to display their works at the annual exhibition that year.
