"Legless Wokingham rescued by Crowthorne and Woodley" (Dani Marsden)
The set-up day was a miracle. When John Taylor went to get the screens on Thursday afternoon he found that someone had broken into the lock-up and stolen all the metal bases and legs. But he kept his cool. A flurry of activity, the other stars of which were Rod, Sue, Don, Clare Buchta and Rebecca, resulted in the loan of sufficient stands from the Crowthorne and Woodley Art Societies. This allowed handing-in to take place as scheduled.
